How to choose bag material?

First, aluminum foil material
Aluminum foil this material of packaging bag blocking air performance, high temperature resistance (121℃), low temperature resistance (-50℃), oil resistance. The purpose of aluminum foil bag is different from ordinary bag, mainly used for high temperature cooking and storage of low temperature food. But aluminum foil packaging bag due to the material is fragile, easy to break, coupled with poor acid resistance, no heat sealing. Therefore, it is generally only used as the middle material of the bag, such as our daily drinking milk packaging bag, frozen food packaging bag, will use aluminum foil.
second, PET material
PET is also called bidirectional stretch polyester film, this material of packaging bag transparency is very good, strong luster, strength and toughness is better than other materials, is not easy to break, and non-toxic tasteless, high safety, can be directly used for food packaging. Therefore, PET is a non-toxic and aseptic packaging material for all kinds of food and medicine in daily life. But its disadvantages are also obvious, that is not heat resistant, alkali resistant, can not be placed in hot water soaking.
Third nylon
Nylon is also called polyamide, the material is also very transparent, and heat resistance, oil resistance, puncture resistance, soft to the touch, but not resistant to moisture, and heat sealing is poor. So nylon packaging bags are used to package solid food, as well as some meat products and cooking food, such as chicken, duck, ribs and other packaging, can extend the shelf life of food.
Fourth OPP material
OPP, also called oriented polypropylene, is the most transparent packaging material, is also the most brittle, tension is also very small. Most of the transparent packaging bags used in our life are made of opp materials, which are widely used in clothing, food, printing, cosmetics, printing, paper and other industries.
Fifth HDPE material
The full name of HDPE is high density polyethylene.
The bag made of this material is also called PO bag. The temperature range of the bag is very wide. In daily life, it is used for food packaging, grocery shopping bags, can also be made into composite film, used for food anti-penetration and insulation packaging film.
Sixth CPP: The transparency of this material is very good, the hardness is higher than PE film. And it has many kinds and a wide range of uses, can be used for food packaging, candy packaging, medicine packaging and so on. It can also be used as the base film of composite materials, which can be made into composite bags together with other films, such as hot filling, cooking bag, aseptic packaging, etc.
The above six materials are commonly used in packaging bags. The characteristics of each material are different, and the performance and application scenarios of the bags made are also different. We need to choose according to our actual situation.
